Denise McKinney is the President of the Angelus Matchcover Club and a past-president of the Rathkamp Matchcover Society, as well as the Outstanding Collector of the Year recipient for 2024. She has been collecting matchbooks and other historic memorabilia for 30 years. She is also the author of several books and created a popular series of videos about matchbooks, records, and other paper collectibles. Born and raised in Southern California, she works hard to promote the fun side of local history and believes that the love of history can be obtained by simple non-traditional means.
